Jackie
Seidel completed her master’s degree at the University of
British Columbia. She is currently a doctoral student at the
University of Alberta where she continues to write poetry and
fiction, read young adult novels, teach undergraduate English
language arts courses and do research in the area of ethics and
ecology.
Carl
Leggo is a poet and Associate Professor in the Department of
Language and Literacy Education at the University of British
Columbia.
Desirée Pelletier
is part
Cree, Ojibway and French. She grew up in Saskatchewan and is
currently completing her B.Ed. at the University of Alberta. She
has a strong interest in reading and in bringing issues of
culture into her teaching.
Susan
Walsh is a published writer and Ph.D. candidate in the
Department of Secondary Education at the University of Alberta.
Her doctoral research explores experiences of fear and pain in
teaching through various artistic media.
Yangsheng
Guo studied, taught and translated English literature in China
for many years. He is currently a doctoral student at the
University of Alberta where he is researching issues of identity
and globalization.
